Hoonah has a population of over 700 people and considered a First-Class City. Hoonah is located on Chichagof Island and we are the biggest community on the Island. Chichagof is a part of the ABC islands of the Northern part of the Alaskan Pan Handle. Hoonah is located in the Tongass Nation Forest, the largest forest in the USA. Which it is twice the size of Maryland. The Indigenous people that reside here are known as Tlingit Indian. On our tour we will take you through the community of Hoonah and learn about the community and its local residents, watch the Whales “maybe see them” that pass by in Port Fredrick, see our Wild life that call our Island Home. Witness the strength, power, and balance of the Traditional Native Games. We will not sit in the van for the entire trip, however, stopping and stretching our legs and enjoying the incredible Southeast scenery will have those cameras clicking. Kids and adults enjoy our tour and experience Alaska the way it should be, with Real Local People.
